Our goal is to create clothes that are as gentle as possible on the earth that our children will grow up in. Garment production will always leave some kind of footprint, but we strive to make that mark as tiny as possible. Using eco-friendly cotton is a no-brainer for us, but we’re also committed to making clothes that are timeless and durable. Several studies have shown that one of the most effective ways to reduce the garment industry’s environmental impact is to produce clothes with a long lifespan. That’s why our clothes are carefully crafted by skilled manufacturers and made only of top-quality materials. Clothes from The Striped Cat are made to last for a long time: We hope these pieces will be passed on to siblings, cousins, friends, and even the next generation. Because what’s good for the environment is also good for all of us. 

All our garments are GOTS-certified or certified with the OEKO-TEX® 100 standard, class 1, which guarantees that the products are free from harmful substances and therefore safe for the human health and the environment. GOTS is the strictest certification for organic materials on the market today. 

To minimize our environmental impact, we also strive to work with recycled materials and partner with companies that are in the forefront of sustainable production. 90% of our clothes are produced in Turkey, by a company that is the first certified organic textile company in Turkey.

For every tiger item sold, we will donate €1 to the WPSI Tiger Protection Programme in India.
